Seneca Fest - Day 1

The Seneca Fest Memorial Day has gotten off to a great start! One of the first events was cutting the ribbon to dedicate the newly renovated Norton Thompson Park at around 5 pm. However, the festivities actually began earlier today as streets were shut down so craft and food vendors could prepare their booths. Excitement filled the air as stages were raised on Railroad St, N Townville St, and Ram Cat Alley for the many performers of the day such as: Super V, Doug McCormick, Danielle Howle, Sinnerville Saints, Ten-Toes Up, and 440 Band.

The first day is over and the second starts early in the morning at 8 am with the 5K and 1 mile Fun Run. Of course, runners and walkers will be arriving around 7 to 7:30 am. There will be great BBQ, beautiful crafts, and wonderful music provided by such great bands as: New Dixie Storm, Matt Corbin, Stone Echo, and Atlanta Rhythm Section. Plus many other attractions for young and old - The Lunney House Museum, BBQ Cook-Off, Cruise In, or how about a helicopter ride. No better way to see Seneca and the surrounding area. Beautiful!

Hope to see you there!!
